McCotter on the Bush News Network

It’s all McCotter, all the time here at spinline.net: The Blog. Unfortunately, the audio seems to cut out at around the 3:30 mark. It must be the Elite Conspiracy, extending its malign tentacles to YouTube to silence dissent!

McCotter’s making a lot of sense.

These Main St. vs. Wall St. metaphor battles make me want to go watch a Frank Capra movie.

  4. Syzygus Says:

That idea’s not half-bad, Elihu… maybe we could all start wearing suits and Fedora hats again. Women look so much better in pageboys, stunning red lipstick, mid-calf dresses, and strings of pearls, even if they’re fake. We should start talking like they did, even down to the occasional patter. I’m going to start a campaign to have Detroit bring back vinyl bench front seats so we can slide across to the curb side to get out of the cars we can’t afford to drive.

McCotter, Pence, Shelby on the Senate side, and others are doing nice work. Still they tell us Barney Frank and the others in Bush’s camp (I love being able to say that) are “close” to “making progress” on an agreement.

Thanks for coming by, guys. It’s looking pretty bleak out there. But I like Syzygus’s suggestions; if we’re going to have a new Great Depression, we might as well have fun, kitschy Depression-era fashion!
