Good to be back!

Yeah, that's pretty good. I confess to not having watched or read the SOTU. I know I should, just as a staying-informed, eat-your-vegetables kind of thing. But I just can't bear to.

Huzzah for the return of the Spinliner! I will give the President kudos for one remark in the State of the Union address: that in 5 years' time we will have doubled our exports and that we should not be content to let China, Germany or anyone else lead the world in that regard. Everything else was patently, transparently false, whistling past the graveyard, or boneheaded obtuseness.

African American's aren't the only ones suffering from Vitamin D deficiency, but also the elderly who are less able to cutaneously synthesize it, and the obese who store Vitamin D up in their fat, thereby reducing bioavailability.

Vitamin D deficiency has also been connected to Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's Disease, and Even Schizophrenia.

However, it is toxic in high doses so... get tested.

This is a very interesting and informative post. It's a sad thing that there are health professionals who get confused with child abuse and vitamin d deficiency.

Thank you for reprinting this newsletter--the more it gets read, the better! I am a parent also going through false allegations of child abuse due to undiagnosed vitamin D deficiency. I am also trying to network parents going through the same ordeal. If you're reading this, and you are fighting false allegations of child abuse because of D deficiency/Rickets, please consider contacting me: buckeyegirl_164@yahoo.com

I can tell you that in just one day of searching I found two other cases in Ohio (where I'm from) alone. There is strength in numbers--I would like to hear your story and offer support.

This is going to eventually make Apple's (and others') end user license agreements the issue, isn't it?

I mean, really. Some fatass eats 9 bags of Lay's cooked in Olestra and gets greasy diarrhea which was debilitating for what, an hour? and suddenly America is at risk. Frickin' fascists.

CSPI are also the killjoys who ruined olestrin for a market yearning for it.
Not only did my mom buy Like cola, she bought us Apple flavored Slice (best soda ever, period), Coke II (better than the "original" and Pepsi, which is why they introduced it to begin with), and a whole bunch of other great junk.
